Intercontinental Jet Service Corporation Introduce Sagem Avionics System for Mitsubishi MU-2

New state-of-the-art avionics system increases cockpit efficiency

Tulsa, Oklahoma, September, 2007 – Intercontinental Jet Service Corporation’s (IJSC) President Dennis Braner and the IJSC Team are now offering the Sagem Avionics Integrated Cockpit Display System (ICDS) for Mitsubishi MU-2 aircraft. This state-of-the-art system once again demonstrates IJSC’s commitment to aviation safety, innovation and customer support.

The Sagem ICDS’ dual 8.4-inch displays provide all of the flight information necessary to operate the MU-2 in VFR and IFR conditions, including attitude, altitude, airspeed, and compass data. Optional interfaces allow display of engine information and navigation data such as GPS, VOR, LOC, ILS, and Marker Beacon signals. Additionally, the center mounted 10.4-inch Sagem Avionics Multi-Function Display (MFD) unit provides necessary engine information as well as a scalable moving map with informational overlays.

Braner believes this instrument upgrade is a great system for all MU-2 operators, “The Sagem ICDS provides all of the vital information necessary for safe flying right at the pilot’s fingertips. These upgrades of the original analog MU-2 flight instruments give MU-2 operators a state-of-the-art, multifunction flight display which not only reduces clutter in the cockpit, but also increases efficiency.”

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, Inc. (MHIA) purchased the Intercontinental Jet Service Corporation (IJSC) operation in May of 2006. IJSC is a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of MHIA. MHIA’s Aircraft Product Support Division provides ongoing support including parts, publications, service engineering, etc. for more than 300 MU-2 aircraft operating in North America.
